Your Local LGBT+ Community Bar

Iconic is a hidden gem on Richmond Street behind Canal Street in the heart of the Gay Village. This vibrant little bar was previously a hairdressers salon called Tyler Frazer before the shampoo was swapped for sherries circa 2010 and its life as a bijou bar began. A few faces and name changes later, from Parlour Bar, Icon, Iconic by AXM and now simply Iconic, it is an LGBT+ community hub with a friendly team and a host of regular local faces where strangers can leave as friends. Current owner, Terry, has been at the helm since 2016 and has amassed a fabulous array of 150 gins to delight any connoisseur, in addition to a great range of quality draught and bottled beers, wines and spirits. Iconic also hosts weekly events including Monday night madness with SpeedQuizzing and Thursday Bingo. This small but mighty bar is what the Village community is all about and the perfect place to polari.
